How do I cancel my account?
We realize that your circumstances change, and you may wish to change or cancel an existing plan you have with govital internet inc. However, to avoid any extra billing please consider the following policies when cancelling an account.
Please feel free to contact our office at 254-5115 or via email at support@govital.net to discuss your circumstances.
- We do not accept cancellations over the telephone. If you would like to terminate your service, we request that you put your request in writing with a signature and mail or fax it to us. You can use this form.
- If you must cancel by electronic mail, you will need to telephone the office to verify and review any outstanding charges.
- Plans that are under a contractual obligation will result in a contract buy-out charge at a rate of 75% of the remaining balance. Our setup and installation charges are very low, and the billings during the duration of the contract allow you to deflect the upfront costs that govital has assumed in advance for providing you with service.
- Allow for up to seven business days for your account to be cancelled. We are unable to reverse billings or charges and will only give refunds for accounting errors made by govital if you have completed the necessary paperwork. If you cancel the day after your renewal, we cannot give a refund, but are able to maintain the credit on your account for other services, or keep your services active until the end of the billing period.
Non use of service will not result in a credit towards your account. Do not think that just because you stopped using the service, we will assume you are no longer interested. Please inform us as soon as possible about any circumstances that will effect your or ability to use or pay for service.
